Sustainable clothing is becoming a hot topic. People are becoming more aware of taking care of our planet and the repercussions of fast fashion. Educating people will encourage the next generation to make better and more sustainable choices.

Here at Harleco we want to make it easier for people to make these sustainable choices. We have done hours upon hours of research into different fabrics, samples, factories and more trying to make the best decisions for you.

Our Fabric choices

Our leggings and sports bra are made from ECONYL® regenerated Nylon, made entirely from ocean and landfill waste, such as industrial plastic, fabric scraps from clothing manufacturing companies, old carpets and "ghost nets" (lost or abandoned fishing nets).

The fabrics strong warp-knit structure is excellent for muscle support and recovery, with a high opacity and soft lustre for complete coverage. The highly innovative fabric offers optimal breathability, quick moisture wicking, and high UV protection (UPF 50+).

It's certified as STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. This is one of the world’s best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances.

Our hoodies are made from 100% combed organic cotton.

The fabric is GOTS certified which stands for "The Global Organic Textile Standard" which is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.

The fabric is made with 90% Reduced CO2.

The Carbon Footprint of a product is the total the amount of CO2 and other greenhouse gases emitted as part of a product's manufacture, distribution, use and disposal. Greenhouse gases (GHGs) are so called because they trap heat in the Earth's atmosphere and keep the planet warm. The main gases are carbon dioxide (CO2), methane and nitrous oxide.
